Young Thai Athletes Complete Training Camp at Butterfly Table Tennis Dohjo
From September 29 to October 12, 12 young athletes from the Thai National Table Tennis Team, sponsored by Tamasu Butterfly Thailand, participated in an intensive training camp at the Butterfly Table Tennis Dohjo in Tokyo, Japan.
These players stayed at the Dohjo , which was designed to fulfill founder Hikosuke Tamasu’s vision of creating an environment where athletes can “train as much as they like, whenever they like, 24 hours a day.”
During the camp, Butterfly's contract coaches, Rika Suzuki and Hiroko Fujii, participated and shared their knowledge, providing personalized feedback and introducing advanced techniques and strategies. Their involvement contributed to the players' improvement in both technical skills and game tactics.
After wrapping up their training, the athletes participated in a mini racket crafting session hosted by Butterfly. Using recycled materials from the production process, players approached the activity with great focus. With careful hands, each athlete crafted their own unique mini racket through this activity.
This training camp exemplifies Butterfly's dedication to the global development of table tennis, and we are eager to see these young athletes apply what they’ve learned on the international stage.
