Butterfly provides equipment for the ITTF Foundation World Table Tennis Day event

Butterfly provided table tennis tables, blades, balls, etc. as the event partner for the ITTF Foundation World Table Tennis Day event held in Leipzig, Germany on April 23rd.
Until 2022, the ITTF Foundation World Table Tennis Day was April 6th which is the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace by the United Nations. However, since 2023, it has been set to April 23, the birthday of Mr. Ivor Montagu, the first President of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
This year, World Table Tennis Day celebrated the joy of playing table tennis and connecting people under the theme of Diversity & Inclusion, emphasizing participation and enjoyment through over 750 events across more than 100 countries and regions.
Among them, Leipzig Central Station, the event location, is in the center of the city where the ITTF Foundation's headquarters are based and is also one of the largest stations in Europe, used by around 150,000 people a day.
This stage that celebrated the ITTF Foundation World Table Tennis Day had participation from Ms. Petra Sörling, the President of ITTF and ITTF Foundation, Mr. Pedro Moura, the acting President of the European Table Tennis Union, and legendary player Zoran Primorac, medalist of World Table Tennis Championships who also played in the Olympics seven times among other dignitaries.
At the event, people passing through the station had precious moments enjoying table tennis. The event wrapped up with great success.
To spread joy throughout the world with table tennis, Butterfly will continue to work on popularizing and developing our sport.
